Dreen Tozer welcomes you to Victoria Spa Lodge, an attractive Victorian building originally built in 1837 as a Spa. Queen Victoria graciously gave her name to the hotel and her coat-of-arms is built into the gables. The building is situated in a country setting overlooking Stratford canal.
Seven beautifully appointed bedrooms all en-suite, have flat screen TV, radio-alarms, hair-dryers, hot beverage makers, central heating and full fire certificate. Free WiFi access is available throughout the building and there is ample free parking space for guests set in a mature Victorian garden.

Queen Victoria opened ‘The Queens Hotel at Victoria Spa’ as it was originally known, in May 1837, shortly before becoming queen on the 20th of June. Captain Bruce Bairnsfather (1887-1959) cartoonist creator of 'Old Bill' and 'Fragments from France' during the Great War lived here, as did Sir Barry Jackson, the founder of Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
Of Captain Bruce Bairnsfather: he lifted spirits during some of the world’s darkest days. And now the story of the life and work of cartoonist, Captain Bruce Bairnsfather, is being told in his hometown.
An exhibition about the man, who shot to fame during the early part of the First World War, with his comic sketches from the frontline, has opened in the PACCAR Room at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
The RSC is also currently showing a production of the play A Christmas Truce at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.
A full English breakfast or vegetarian option can be enjoyed in a most elegant antique furnished dining room. (Please note: We are holders of the Food Hygiene Inspection Silver Award)
